1.What is the URL?

2.Who is it aimed at?

It is aimed at all european people and banks who are willing to know offical information about the european economy.

3.What can they do there?

In this website they can obtain information about the European Central Bank, know its objectives and its monetary policy, as well as convert currencies or check ECB’s statistics.

4.What type of content does it contain?

As I explained before, it contains all kind of information related to the Europe Central Bank, such as events, publications and statistics. In addition, it informs about markets and payments and press releases.

5.Did you find anything surprising?

Firstly, I found really interesting is that there is a section called ‘’Cash changeover’’ in which you can change your currency in order to know how much does your currency values in other country, i.e , how much Slovak koruna can you obtain with one euro.
Secondly, there is a section adapted to children in which they can learn more about the euro through an online game and different videos.
Moreover, I was surprised about the fact that the website offers job opportunities to work at the european central bank’s headquarters applying on-line. You can also check in the website the Conditions of Employment Staff.
Finally, you can find all the design elements of the banknotes so as to distinguish european notes from other country's notes.
