The article "Loosing face" from the magazine "The economist" explains how social networks can be useful for marketing but it can also bring some bad effects to firms. In both firms, British Airways and Virgin Atlantic some employees have been fired because of posting offensive coments on the internet.
Even thought both British Airways and Virgin Atlantic tried to avoid it, it didn't seem to be enough for their employees.
To sum up, firms should look for online watering holes, where their employees may critisize the company to prevent this kind of incidents.
